Pilates is perfect for those of you who don’t want to stand up to exercise. Pilates trains for a strong core, flat stomach and firm buttocks. Pilates is known for producing a leaner look that comes from better posture. The Pilates method works to shape thighs and increase lung capacity without aerobic huffing and puffing.

In Pilates there are few repetitions, but each exercise is performed with control. We will use the original 34 exercises in Pilates as a fun way to progress through the program. Our breath sets the pace of each movement. The energy experienced after class has been described as “getting an internal shower” as stress that collects around the waist area is encouraged to move out.
