Do you know the symptoms of cataracts? According to the National Eye Institute, initial symptoms include blurred vision (which feels like you are looking through a piece of clouded glass), glare, and subdued colors (colors may not appear as bright to you as they once did). Talk to your eye care professional if you have symptoms of cataracts. The risk of cataracts increases as you get older. If you are age 60 or older, it is recommended that you get a comprehensive dilated eye exam at least once every two years.
